9145 Diver RF / 9140 Receiver

Previous page

Description: The Level Devil* 9145 Diver RF is a state-of-the-art, integrated pressure gauge and RF (radio frequency), solar or batter powered transmitter. It reports the level of a single liquid storage tank to a solar powered RF transmitter attached to the tank. This level data is then transmitted wireless to a local receiver which is attached to an analog phone line. Installation of the Diver RF is simple and inexpensive. The Diver RF probe is lowered through a tank's top opening to rest on the bottom. The transmitter is threaded into a 2 inch NPT tank opening. The transmitter then sends wireless signals to the receiving unit located within 1,500 feet of the transmitter. The solar panel or battery attached to the Diver RF powers the entire unit. The receiving unit is attached to 110 VAC power and stores and transmits data on a pre-programmed basis. The receiving unit can monitor 4 (9145A-RM4-AC), 6 (9145A-RM6-AC) or up to 30 (9145A-RM30-AC) separate Diver RF transmitting units.

(Diver pictured at right with solar cell and transmitter.)

Operation: With the Diver RF sitting at the bottom of a tank, any liquid above it causes pressure which the Diver RF senses. Pressure information is converted to level information inside the Diver RF transmitter. This data is sent by a wireless data link to the 9140 Diver RF receiver, where it is stored for later transmission over a standard telephone connection. The Diver RF is pre-programmed to read and send information to the receiver every 8 minutes. Collected data is sent to the Level Devil software where programmable alarms are pre-set to alert the customer to tank conditions. The Diver RF receiver may be connected on the same phone line as fax machines, computers and answering machines, and requires 110 VAC indoor power supply.
