Operation: The PTX 1240 submersible pressure transmitter indicates the level of liquid by continuously measuring hydrostatic pressure via it's semiconductor sensing element and converting it to a 4-20mADC output signal. The transmitter is vented to the atmosphere through the surface end of the cable and is available with a flush diaphragm or a removable non-clogging snub-nosed end which protects the sensing element. Installation is easy ... Simply lower the transmitter into the vessel or well.
